Bob Racusin is a seasoned C-level legal and operational executive with more than two decades of experience advising private equity firms, hedge funds, family offices, and digital asset businesses. He currently serves as a Managing Director and Senior Advisor to Eagle Bay Family Office, where he works closely with principals and operating teams on structuring, governance, tax optimization, and complex transaction execution.

His background spans both traditional and alternative asset management, including private equity, credit, hedge funds, real estate, and digital assets. He previously served as a Founding Member, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, and General Counsel of Virgo Investment Group LLC, a $1B+ private investment firm, where he built the firm’s operational and compliance infrastructure from inception and led fund structuring, institutional fundraising, regulatory oversight, and complex transaction negotiations.

Earlier in his career, he held senior operational and legal roles at D.B. Zwirn & Co., LP, a multi-billion-dollar, multi-strategy hedge fund, and began his career as a financial advisor at UBS PaineWebber. Across these roles, he oversaw institutional audits, negotiated credit facilities and side letters, managed litigation strategy, and led regulatory filings, including Form ADV, Form PF, and international fund disclosures.

In addition to his work in traditional finance, he advises Act 60 companies, RIAs, and crypto-native businesses on operational design, entity structuring, and regulatory positioning, bridging institutional discipline with emerging asset classes.

He holds a Juris Doctor from The Dickinson School of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh (magna cum laude). He is an active member of the Ohio State Bar Association.
