Monllor Capital Partners LLC (“MCP”) is a minority owned alternative asset management and advisory firm located in San Juan Puerto Rico since 2018. MCP’s mission is to make and facilitate tax-advantaged private equity investments. MCP, as general partner, organized Puerto Rico Opportunity Zone Fund, LP (“PROZ”), a Qualified Opportunity Fund, in 2020 and recently launched Puerto Rico Opportunity Zone Fund II, LP (“PROZ II”). PROZ and PROZ II are investing in renewable energy, sustainable businesses, and infrastructure/real estate in opportunity zones throughout Puerto Rico. MCP also co-manages MasCap, LLC, a Puerto Rico private equity fund established in 2022, under Puerto Rico’s Act 60 Incentive Code. MasCap provides private debt and equity capital to real estate and infrastructure companies in Puerto Rico.
