In 2016, Jim co-founded this public benefit corporation with a mission to accelerate the adoption of clean energy worldwide. In 2020, Powur was 938 on the Inc. 5000 list; in 2021 it was ranked 61st, in 2022 ranked #43, 2023 ranked #130. Powur crossed $1.5B in total revenues ($200 million in 2021, $300M in 2022. $360M in 2023) and most importantly we sold and installed over 100,000 residential solar projects which have sequestered over 2.7B lbs of CO2 from the atmosphere.

In 2009 Jim was part of the startup team at Bamboo.com. They grew the startup from 6 employees to 1400 in the first year of business. We sold $30M of virtual tours in year 1, at $99/tour, to 100k real estate agents. We had a successful nasdaq ipo 9 months after starting company in 1999. We accomplished a merger of equals with https://ipix.com in 2000 and then acquired by homestore.com which owned Realtor.com and now is under the umbrella of https://www.move.com/.
LifeSuccess/Bob Proctor
In 2006 Jim was hired as VP of Sales for a startup called Life Success Institute in Kansas City. Working with the cofounders Bob Proctor, John Assaraf and Murray Smith, Jim led the company to $3 Million in sales year one selling $25k mentor programs, live events and mastermind sessions that Bob and John fulfilled.
Tony Robbins
in 2004 Jim toured the US and Canada with Tony Robbins. He was hired as one of the 4 sales people who would go to cities 8 weeks before Robbins live events and our mission was to fill the event with 2500 participants so Robbins could do his event.

Today Jim actively invests/advises Impact CEO’s, writes, lectures and serves as the Chairman of the Board with The U.S. Green Chamber of Commerce, a 501c3 & 501c6 whose mission is to Protect and Promote America's emerging economy because we believe “Businesses are the solution to a fulfilled life, healthier planet, and thriving economy”.
