Eric Berman is the Managing Partner of Vivant Capital and Vivant Hospitality, the dedicated hotel and restaurant management arm of Vivant Capital's owner-operated investments and development projects. Prior to the formation of Vivant Capital and Vivant Hospitality, Eric was a Partner and the Chief Investment Officer of Lifeafar Capital, a real estate investment firm headquartered in Medellín, Colombia.

Eric has spent his career working with a diverse base of investors, owners, lenders and developers of hotel and mixed-use real estate assets. He has advised on more than $2 billion of hotel real estate transactions throughout the U.S. and Latin America. During his professional career, he has lived and held positions in New York, Miami, Colombia, Panama, and Mexico, and currently resides in Puerto Rico.
