Carlos Nido is the Managing Partner of Green Isle Capital, a Puerto Rico–based investment platform focused on private equity, real estate, and structured opportunities leveraging Act 60 incentives.

He is an experienced investor, film producer, media executive, and entrepreneur. Carlos has been actively involved in the growth of Puerto Rico’s investment ecosystem, working across sectors to deploy capital into high-impact projects on the island.

In parallel to his investment career, Carlos has produced over 30 film projects in Puerto Rico, contributing to the expansion of the island’s film industry and the development of locally produced content. His work includes participation in major productions supported by government-backed initiatives aimed at strengthening Puerto Rico’s creative economy.

Currently, he is leading the conversion of two buildings into boutique hotel properties in San Juan—one on Calle Cerra and another near Paseo Caribe—further expanding his footprint in hospitality and urban redevelopment.

Carlos is also in the process of launching a Private Credit Fund focused on financing projects in Puerto Rico, particularly those benefiting from tax incentive decrees. The fund is designed to provide flexible capital solutions to developers and operators while capturing attractive risk-adjusted returns.

He holds academic credentials from the University of Michigan – Stephen M. Ross School of Business and brings a global investment perspective to local opportunities.
